About
Her dynamic contralto vocal and ability to play piano, guitar, cello and drums have moved hearts all over the world. Despite her hard past, she didn't give up, becoming one of the most recognizable stars of music on the border of blues rock, soul and jazz fusion.
Beth Hart is an American singer and songwriter. He owes his fame to the song "LA Song (Out of This Town)" published in 1999. Already at the age of four she started her adventure with playing the piano. Initially focused on the classical works of Bach and Beethoven, but as she grew older, she also began to play works by Etta James, Otis Redding and Led Zeppelin. At the age of 15 she performed for the first time in a local club in Hollywood. Six years later, together with bassist Tal Herzberg and guitarist Jimmy Khoury, she formed a band with which she recorded the then unofficial album "Beth Hart & The Ocean Of Souls" (remastered in 2009). The official studio album "Immortal" was released in 1996. Still in the same year the band was dissolved due to many quarrels. Hart's debut solo album "Screamin' for My Supper" was released on August 3, 1999. The album included the most famous song "LA Song (Out of This Town)", which became the number one hit in New Zealand, as well as being in the top five of the US Adult Contemporary list and in the top ten of the Billboard Adult Top 40. The next album "Leave the Light On" saw the light of day in 2003 and was almost immediately successful on the European market. The single "Learning to Live" reached the top of the charts in Denmark, while the album itself was certified as double platinum. The artist's next solo albums have been released successively: "37 Days" (2007), "My California" (2010), "Bang Bang Boom Boom" (2012), "Better Than Home" (2015), "Fire on the Floor" (2016) and "War in My Mind" (2019). Since 2011, Hart has been working with blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa, with whom she has recorded three albums: "Don't Explain" (2011), "Seesaw" (2012) and "Black Coffee" (2018). In 2014 she was nominated for the Grammy Award for "Seesaw" and the Blues Music Award for "Best Contemporary Blues Female Artist". More information is available below:
