18 lat - tyle w dniu dołączenia do brytyjskiego UFO w 1973 roku miał Michael Schenker. Określany “Niemieckim Złotym Dzieckiem” muzyk walnie przyczynił się do wielkiego sukcesu formacji, szybko stając się jednym z najlepszych gitarzystów naszych czasów, który po dziś wywiera wpływ na nową falę adeptów tego instrumentu!

W czasie tzw. “Schenker Era” (1974 - 1978) grupa wydała 5 albumów (!), w tym m.in. Phenomenon (1974), Lights Out (1977), a także kultową koncertówkę “Strangers In The Night” (1978), dzięki której na na szerszą wodę wypłynęły takie kompozycje jak “Doctor Doctor”, “Rock Bottom” czy “Only You Can Rock Me”. 


20 września premierę miała płyta “My Years With UFO”, na której Schenker we współpracy z wieloma znamienitymi gośćmi (Slashem, Rogerem Gloverem, Joeyem Tempestem i wieloma innymi) tchnęli nowego ducha w kultowe kompozycje.
