Nik Kershaw pierwszy raz w Polsce na koncertach w 3 miastach: Gdańsku, Warszawie i Krakowie.

Nik podpisał kontrakt z wytwórnią MCA Records w 1983 roku, a rok później podbił listy przebojów „I Won't Let The Sun Go Down”. Syn architekta i śpiewaka operowego trafił na nerw czasu swoimi piosenkami i dźwiękiem, a w 1984 roku dokonał międzynarodowego przełomu „Wouldn't It Be Good”. Jego debiutancki album Human Racing, wydany 35 lat temu, pokrył się platyną.

Potem nastąpiły udane trasy koncertowe i inne hity, takie jak „The Riddle”. W 1985 roku Nik wystąpił m.in. na koncercie „Live Aid” zorganizowanym przez Boba Geldofa i Midge Ure. Po kolejnych albumach postanowił wycofać się z centrum uwagi w 1989 roku i pracował w tle jako autor tekstów i producent.
Na przykład napisał zabójczy hit „The One & Only” dla Chesney Hawkes.

Nik współpracował z takimi artystami, jak Cliff Richard, Bonnie Tyler, Ronan Keating, Jason Donovan, Nick Carter, Michael W Smith, Connah Reeves, Colin Blunstone, Petula Clark, Gary Barlow, The Hollies, Elton John i Tony Banks (Genesis).

Nik jest konsekwentnie okrzyknięty jednym z najlepszych autorów piosenek swojego pokolenia przez takie legendy jak Eric Clapton, Miles Davis i Elton John. Nik był nominowany do 4 nagród Brit Awards.
