Fans of the game "Wiedźmin 3: Dziki Gon" ("The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt") certainly know the co-creators of its soundtrack. For those of who don't know who it is, we introduce Percival - Polish folk-metal band from Lublin, which includes: Joanna Lacher, Christina Bogdanova, Katarzyna Bromirska and Mikołaj Rybacki, creating other side projects such as "Percival Wild Hunt Live" and "Percival Schuttenbach". Percival create traditional European songs, mainly Slavic, and its own compositions referring to the early Middle Ages, such as the Viking era or the pagan era. The musicians play traditional instruments such as drums (Bodhrán, Davul) and flutes (Sopilka) and use more exotic sounds of instruments called Bağlama, Saz and Rebec. The group presents its music during many historical events in Poland (including the Festiwal Słowian i Wikingów on the Wolin Island) and abroad - e.g. in Germany, Belgium, France, Slovakia and Lithuania, as well as on the Isle of Man or in the Scandinavian region.

The band has released five studio albums and has also engaged in additional releases, such as music for audiobooks. The debut album entitled "Eiforr" was released in 2007. It contains both folk music and its arrangements bringing closer to the listeners the medieval atmosphere. Second album released a year later - "Oj Dido" - delights with folk songs of the Vikings and Slavs. The next album "Slava I - Pieśni Słowian Południowych" from 2012 opens with a triptych presenting the music of Slavic peoples, belonging to the group of Southern Slavs. "Slava II - Pieśni Słowian Wschodnich" was released in 2014. It contains works by Eastern Slavs, i.e. Russians, Belarusians, Ukrainians and Lemkos. The last part of the triptych "Slava III - Pieśni Słowian Zachodnich" was published in 2018. This CD contains songs of Western Slavs, which include Poles, Czechs, Slovaks, as well as Sorbs songs. A few tracks from the above albums were used to create soundtracks for the game "Wiedźmin 3: Dziki Gon". In 2015, Percival together with Percival Schuttenbach released the album "Wild Hunt", which includes original forms of songs, which in a slightly modified form appeared in the game. In 2010, the musicians started cooperation with music producer Donatan, creating together the project "Równonoc", which combines traditional Slavic sound with hip-hop music. Thanks to this cooperation, the album was certified as a diamond album.
