APOCALYPTICA Niewielu zespołom udało się uchwycić ducha przekornego indywidualizmu tak dobrze, jak fińskim tytanom z Apocalyptiki. Czterech wirtuozów z helsińskiej Akademii Sibeliusa założyło zespół w 1993 roku i już trzy lata później fiński kwartet był na ustach całego świata. Wydany w 1996 roku album „Plays Metallica By FourCellos”, zawierający utwory legendarnej Metalliki w aranżacji na wiolonczele, okazał się prawdziwą sensacją. Zespół z niebywałą swobodą poszerzył granice świata heavy metalu i od tamtej pory regularnie wyprzedaje sale koncertowe. Dwa lata po debiucie Finowie wydali znakomitą płytę "Inquisition Symphony", który oprócz coverów Sepultury, Faith No More i Pantery zawierała własne kompozycje zespołu. Do dziś ukazało się osiem fantastycznie ocenianych przez krytykę albumów grupy, które sprzedały się w ponad 4 milionach egzemplarzy na całym świecie. Apocalyptice udało się zbudować reputację zespołu, który przyciąga zarówno fanów heavy metalu, jak i miłośników klasycznych brzmień, oferując i jednym, i drugim euforyczne święto muzyki. Covery Metalliki, muzyczne hołdy składane Wagnerowi przy akompaniamencie międzynarodowej orkiestry symfonicznej, współpraca z członkami Slipknota, Soulfly, Slayera, H.I.M. i Bush – szaleni Finowie potrafią godzić gatunki muzyczne jak nikt inny przed nimi.
